How To Put your Body in Fat Burning Mode in 8 Minutes
Scared of Cardio? Yeah I feel you...
But what if rather thinking about this we just go for it and start dancing?
Still no? Ok, so let me tell you a secret, I hate cardio too.
I know how hard it is, legs feeling like jelly, pushing through that “ i’m about to vomit” feeling, sweating, hair getting stuck everywhere on your face, sweating more…
Yeah I know I’m digging myself a hole here. I get it.
There is something about cardio tho that I enjoy immensely: the feeling of empowerment when you lose touch with your body throughout the routine and that sense of accomplishment at the end! the heat, the smile on my face, the pumping heart out of my chest, and the release of endorphins that pushes me to get things done at high energy for hours afterwards, as well as the beautiful night sleep.
Am I picking you back up again? Good!
When I dance these cardio routines, it reminds me of the times I was doing Swan Lake, 8 shows a week and touring.
The adrenaline was high, the show has its magic.
Everyone is very concentrated, It didn’t matter if I had to dance solos, cygnets or core de ballet, everytime I started I was dreading it... the only thought that came to mind was “ Here we go again”.
Second act is a power trial, non stop, even when you are just standing and your feet and calves cramp up!
I never really realised how powerful your mind can be until you hear two voices in your head: one that says: ”I can’t anymore, stop now”, the other one that says: ”you are almost there, you can’t give up now, you can do this, push!”
These are times that you realise you can choose your faith :
Are you going to push or are you going to stop?
Are you going to let 8 min cardio defeat you or are you going to prove yourself you are stronger than that? The choice is yours.
I only wanted to let you know that I believe in you and I know you can!
Today we ACTIVATE our Body but what do we do to keep it ACTIVATED?
